You step into our Centre, and you will feel it. Children, families, and Educators co- create a positive and welcoming
environment where children feel comfortable and confident to explore and grow. It is a space for genuine, loving, and
caring relationships between children, Educators and families to flourish.
Our nurturing nursery educators support each child’s individual routines whilst creating a warm and supportive environment. Your child begins their learning journey with spaces to explore, sensory experiences, opportunities to connect with our ranger program, and creative expression through art and music. Our caring educators work carefully to foster positive relationships with each child and their family, through this we see our little ones grow the confidence to learn about themselves and their worlds.
From 15 months we take a leap into our pre-toddler’s room where our educators support each child in their flexible routine. Here we aim to develop our collaborative play skills and engage in more challenging fine and gross motor activities. Children are supported to investigate our shared outdoor spaces and the learning environments are set up to optimise exploration, creativity, agency, and positive relationships.
Our Toddlers; room is filled with rich opportunities for exploration, self- expression, and investigation. As our children become more independent, we support their self-help skills and use open-ended resources for growing imaginations. Our experienced educators provide children with a safe and inclusive environment where they can express their uniqueness. Navigating social play and problem-solving becomes a great area of focus for our learning programs.
As our children transition into the first of our senior rooms we enable further development of the learning from our younger rooms, with more complex challenges, and opportunities for risk-taking and critical thinking. Our Pre-kindy educators set up interactive provocations to inspire innovation and allow for children to take further responsibilities in their own learning journeys. Children and educators continue to engage in shared decisions to create a meaningful educational program.
Our Early childhood teachers and educators deliver the Queensland government-approved Kindergarten program. Play continues to be the vehicle in which all learning occurs and provides opportunities for each child to use their interests to develop positive dispositions towards learning. During the year our educators collaborate with children and families as a part of our school readiness program to ensure each child has the tools they need for a successful transition to prep.
